VENUE ACCESS
Standard weekend access runs from Friday at 1:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM. Vendors may only deliver, install, strike, and pick up during the couple’s approved rental window. No modifications can be made to the facility without written consent.

VENUE RENTAL
The venue rental includes the following:

  • Community Barn (Maximum occupancy is 128 people)

  • Back lawn out to the frog pond

  • Side lawn up to the tree line with Gardener’s Supply Co. property

The Community Barn and Milk Shed must be locked when leaving. Failure to lock them results in a $100 fee per building.

HAYLOFT WEDDING SUITE
The suite will be used by the Family and Wedding Party as early as 8:00 AM. The capacity is 25 people.

The Band will utilize the Hayloft suite as a green room beginning at 3:45 PM through the end of the night.

The space must be tidied, and all personal items must be moved into the stairwell by 11:00 PM. Alcohol served in the Hayloft must be purchased and served by a licensed caterer or bar provider. Smoking is not allowed in the Hayloft.

PA SYSTEM AND MICROPHONES

The venue’s Fender Passport Conference S2 portable PA system and JBL wireless microphones will be used for ceremony amplification. Renee will be responsible for setting up and testing the equipment. The venue also has a small number of corded microphones available onsite.

Here is a link to the Intervale’s PA System and wireless microphones.

VENUE ACCESSIBILITY

One of the three portable restrooms is wheelchair accessible. The small parking area nearest the Community Barn should remain available for accessible parking, vendor loading and unloading, and guest drop-off and pickup. Please note that the venue’s paths and parking areas are gravel, and outdoor areas may have uneven ground.

VENDOR LOADING AND PARKING

Vendors may use the small parking area near the Community Barn for brief loading and unloading. After unloading, vehicles should be moved to the large parking lot across Intervale Road unless otherwise directed. Emergency-vehicle access must remain clear at all times.

Do not park in the Gardener’s Supply parking or mulch lots, at Burlington Electric, or along Intervale Road.

VENUE WI-FI
The Wi-Fi for the Hayloft and Community Barn is:

Network: Intervale-Barn
Password: Intervale2020!

Service providers whose work depends on internet access should plan to bring a hotspot or other backup connection.

PARKING
Cars must be parked so emergency vehicles can always access the barn.

ACTIVITIES
The property is multi-use, so other agricultural, educational, cultural, or recreational activities may be happening on site at the same time.

NOISE ORDINANCE
Please be mindful of the noise ordinance that goes into effect at 11:00 pm.

TRASH REMOVAL
All trash, garbage, and debris must be removed after the event. Cleanup left behind is billed at $200 per hour.

SMOKING | OPEN FLAMES | GRILLING
No smoking in the barn or on the grounds. No open flames. No grilling in the barn. Any grill used on site must be at least 10 feet from structures.

Forecast and Inclement Weather

The ceremony is planned for the Gravity Stone Arch, weather permitting. We will monitor the forecast closely in the days leading up to the wedding to protect the guest experience and the site conditions. Our ceremony backup location is the Community Barn. Cocktail Hour would also occur in the Community Barn. The reception dinner will take place in the tent.

If we need to move indoors due to heavy rain or muddy grounds, I will notify the vendor team by email, and the vendor webpage will be updated with the final details. Our weather decision will be made by 1:00 PM on the wedding day.

Remaining vendors can join the line after the first group has gone through the line. Meals can be enjoyed at the vendor tables in the barn.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Hosted alcoholic beverages are intended for wedding guests from 3:00 PM–9:00 PM unless explicitly approved by the couple for your specific service. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for service providers. However, between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM, the couple invites vendors to enjoy an alcoholic beverage if you choose to celebrate Deanna and Ian! If you do partake, please enjoy responsibly!

Service providers are welcome to dress comfortably for their responsibilities and the outdoor setting. Please choose an appropriate, guest-facing outfit that allows you to perform your services comfortably throughout the event. Formal attire is not required.
