REHEARSAL
The wedding rehearsal will be held on Friday, October 9th, at 4:00pm in the Garden. The couple, officiant, planning team, immediate family, and wedding party will be present for the rehearsal. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the venue, I recommend you join us on that day to get familiar with the surrounding area, parking options, and the venue grounds! Please let me know if you plan to stop by during the rehearsal.
VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
All vendors participating on the venue grounds are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance, a copy of their Business License, and a signed Vendor Regulations Form (download HERE). For vendors on their Approved Vendor List, these will remain on file for the current calendar year. If you have not yet completed the above form and provided the certificate of Insurance and Business License, please do so as soon as possible. ACCESSIBILITY
Meridian has a service entrance on Belmont St. for those with accessibility needs, providing a clear path to an elevator. The main level of the house is accessible except for the steps leading into the Linden Grove and the steps to the garden (ceremony). Meridian has a portable ramp that can be requested for equipment load and used to help guests/service providers access both spaces. Please let me know in advance of the wedding day if you’ll need to use the portable ramp for any reason.
PETS
Pets are allowed outdoors for a ceremony, but due to Board of Health regulations, they are not allowed indoors where food and beverages are being prepared or served. The couple’s dog will be on-site, outdoors, for pre-ceremony photos and the ceremony.
UNLOADING AND LOADING
The main unloading/loading driveway entrance is located to the left of the Meridian House entrance. Set up Begins at 2:00pm. Select (rentals) has been approved to unload using the abovementioned loading area from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. Spilled Milk will unload using the Belmont Street tunnel to the kitchen in Meridian House at 2:00pm. This option will only be used by the caterer.
If you cannot unload through the front entrance or you need a dedicated window to use the loading area, please let me know so that I can assign a time.
All other vendors can begin unloading in the driveway after Select at 2:00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis using the designated loading area, or by bringing appropriately sized items through the front doors.
RAIN PLAN
If the weather requires us to move indoors, we will shift the ceremony to the Loggia and Reception Gallery in Meridian House. We will make a weather decision at 12:00 pm on Saturday, and I will notify everyone immediately. Cocktail Hour will occur in the Loggia and Dining Room (where dancing will be held later)
VENUE WIFI
WiFi is open and not password-protected. If your services require a reliable connection, please plan to use your own hotspot or portable internet device.
PARKING
Complimentary parking is available in the Meridian lot on Crescent Place, on the right just past the White-Meyer House. The parking lot will be open on the rehearsal and wedding day.
DECOR ATTACHMENTS
Removable adhesives, including Command strips, may not be used unless approved in advance by the Meridian House team. If you believe adhesives are necessary, email me and copy Meridian with a brief description of the item, surface, location, weight, and your removal plan for review. The preference is for free-standing or surface-safe methods that do not mark walls or finishes. Any approved adhesive use must leave no residue or damage after removal.
NOISE ORDINANCE
Please be mindful of the noise ordinance that goes into effect at 10:00pm.
TRASH REMOVAL
All service providers are responsible for removing and disposing of their own trash off-site. This includes any packaging, florals and greenery, boxes, plastic wrap, zip ties, tape, and other materials brought in by your team. For example, the floral team must remove all floral waste and packaging at the end of the night.
Catering will remove guest-generated trash only. Catering does not remove other vendors’ materials or décor waste. Please plan accordingly.

VALET PARKING DIRECTIONS
Please review the Google Maps link to assist you with locating the valet parking garage. More photos are below.
Valet parking for Eaton DC is accessed from 12th Street NW along the side of the hotel, not at the main entrance on K Street NW.
From the front entrance on K Street (Eaton and Michele’s):
If you drive by or stand on the sidewalk with K Street behind you, facing the entrances to Eaton DC/Michele’s, 12th Street NW is the cross street to your right. You’ll see the entrance to Baker’s Daughter on the corner.
Walk or drive to the corner of K Street NW and 12th Street NW on your right.
At the corner, continue on 12th Street NW so that you are going up the side of the hotel with the building on your left. You’ll see a small sign for Baker’s Daughter take-out as you walk in this direction.
Go a short distance up 12th Street. The valet garage entrance is an opening under the hotel on your left, with a driveway that slopes down into the garage and a small valet sign near the entrance (as shown in the photo).
Pull into this opening and stop at the valet stand for assistance.
Please note that the valet cones may not be set up near the street, the door may be closed, and an attendant may not be standing there when you arrive. However, once you pull up, someone will come out.
You may enter the hotel using the door next to the garage; however, there are 3 small stairs you’ll have to go down. If you have several items that you are bringing with you, you can go around to the front instead.
VALET VOUCHERS AND ROOM ACCESS
On the wedding day, the Eaon team will have vendor keys at the front desk. I will have the parking vouchers.
NAME s is our hotel point of contact and will be working at the front desk that day. Just reference the Quin-Blais Wedding when you arrive.
The hotel already has a list of everyone who will be providing a service at the hotel (wedding planner, photography team, videographer, beauty team, florist team). Please let me know if I missed anyone.
You will receive a key to ensure you have access to the floors where the bride and groom are located. The parking vouchers are just small business-card-size printouts that I will provide to you.
You’ll need the voucher when you leave the property and collect your car.
When you arrive, let the parking attendant know that you're with the Quin-Blais Wedding (Room XXXX and Room XXXX) and the approximate time when you’ll be leaving. Sharing your approximate leave time will allow the valet team to be more prepared and strategic with parking your vehicle close.

Forecast and Inclement Weather
The ceremony is planned for the Garden, weather permitting. We will monitor the forecast closely in the days leading up to the wedding to protect the guest experience and the site conditions. Our indoor backup location is the Loggia and Reception Gallery at Meridian House. Cocktail Hour will occur in the Loggia and Dining Room (where dancing will be held later).
If we need to move indoors due to rain or muddy grounds, I will notify the vendor team by email, and the vendor webpage will be updated with the final details. A final decision will be made by 12:00 pm ET on the wedding day.
