REHEARSAL
The wedding rehearsal will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 3:00pm in the Garden. The couple, officiant, planning team, immediate family, and wedding party will be present for the rehearsal. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the venue, I recommend you join us on that day to get familiar with the surrounding area, parking options, and the venue grounds! Please let me know if you plan to stop by during the rehearsal.
VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
DISTANCES
The driveway at Hidden View Farm is approximately 1/2 mile long from the entrance to the property. Vendors should also be aware that the distance from the parking area to the ceremony location is approximately 0.2 miles, the distance from the ceremony location to the reception area is approximately 0.3 miles, and the distance from the reception area back to the parking area is approximately 0.2 miles. Please plan accordingly when loading in, transporting equipment, and moving between event spaces.
Use of Venue and Included Areas
The venue contract lists guest use of the following areas: South River Meadow, Amish Barn, Poultry Palace Bathrooms, and Secret Garden.

NOISE ORDINANCE
Please be mindful of the noise ordinance that goes into effect at 10:00 PM.
TRASH REMOVAL
All service providers are responsible for removing and disposing of their own trash. This includes any packaging, florals and greenery, boxes, plastic wrap, zip ties, tape, and other materials brought in by your team. Catering will remove guest-generated trash only. Catering does not remove other vendors’ materials or décor waste. Please plan accordingly.
All client items and equipment must be removed by 11:00 AM the day after the event. Items left after 12:00 PM may result in a $250 cleanup fee. The venue also notes that gifts, personal items, and money envelopes should not be left overnight.
SMOKING | OPEN FLAMES
Hidden View Farm is a non-smoking venue. Smoking anywhere on the property may result in a $250 charge per occurrence. Open flame is prohibited, including candles and sparklers. Flameless candles and electric lighting may be used instead. Confetti is prohibited, and any send-off should be limited to flower petals or bubbles only. Music must remain at reasonable levels and end by 10:00 PM. The venue’s decision on sound level is final.
INSURANCE AND COMPLIANCE
The venue requires day-of event liability insurance and host alcohol liability coverage, with proof due by July 22, 2026. The contract also states coverage should be no less than $2 million per claim/occurrence, and additional insured language is required to the extent outlined in the agreement. Forecast and Inclement Weather
The outdoor ceremony is planned for the grass area where guests will be able to see the hidden view (between the Arbor House and Secret Garden), weather permitting. We will monitor the forecast closely in the days leading up to the wedding to protect the guest experience and the site conditions. Our backup location is our enclosed tent. In this case, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will occur in the tent.
If we need to move to our tent option due to rain or muddy grounds, I will notify the vendor team by email, and the vendor webpage will be updated with the final details.
A final decision will be made by TBD on the wedding day.

Attire
Please wear polished, professional attire that is appropriate for a wedding and comfortable for working outdoors in summer weather. Collared shirts, dress shirts, and dressier pants or slacks are appropriate. Neutral or darker colors are preferred. All black is not required, but please avoid jeans, t-shirts, sweatpants, and bright standout colors. Catering staff may follow their company uniform guidelines, but this attire guidance is especially intended for vendors such as the photographer, videographer, DJ, officiant, and other guest-facing service providers.
